Spring Mountain Challenge Endurance Ride 2015

You're invited to the Spring Mountain Challenge Endurance Ride.

Plan your weekend at Spring Mountain on the 14 of June and experience the best the country lifestyle has to offer right on your doorstep when the Big Country Endurance Riders gather for their annual competition, hosting their 30th Anniversary Ride in the community.

It will be a wonderful day out for any horse enthusiast, so bring the family and a picnic and cheer on the horses and riders from the start and end base at Spring Mountain Reserve on Tully Connection Road at Greenbank. Forgot your picnic basket? Don't worry the Greenbank Scouts are catering the event, providing all manner of food from hamburgers, rolls, snacks and drinks.

It has parking and toilets and you'll be able to see the teams that have camped out overnight. Riders will be coming and going throughout the day from about 8am Sunday or you can watch the presentation of trophies at 3pm.

Big Country have recently received a grant to upgrade their tracks which will be for the benefit of the entire Spring Mountain community including all local residents, bush walkers, horse riders and mountain bike riders. The planning for this is well underway and construction will begin the week after their event.

All endurance riding enthusiasts can see the competition details on the Big Country Endurance Riders website if you’re interested in entering or email bigcountryriders@hotmail.com by 10 June.
